Dedicated and Shared Network Connections You can specify running your backup application over a dedicated resource or over our shared network environment. Critical backups have to happen. To insure that they do we provide the necessary monitoring and consultation to insure smooth backup operation. Our facility's location is off the main roads and in a fairly obscure area yet reasonably close to the New York for onsite access to your equipment or we can provide any level of managed service to handle the hardware requirements. Our expertise in hosted applications allows us to draw from a variety of ways and methods to make the data secure yet available to you in any location through mechanisms such as FTP, HTTP download and remote file and control methods.
Electrical Generator Backup We have 100% automated multiple redundant electrical generators with load control and failover capabilities to insure continuous power in the event of a commercial grid failure. Our tested and maintained equipment insures that critical start-ups happen when the street grid fails. Large container fuel reserves insure capacity to withstand potential long-term man-made or natural disaster related outages without interruption in facility electrical service.
Multi Homed Service As a multi homed host IAC has multiple T1 connections coming in and run them in separate and redundant from CO to server facility Our high throughput service allows you to bandwidth spike instantaneously without being charged additional fees. Our service runs many popular web applications and technologies such as IIS, PHP and FTP and is suitable for incremental backup jobs not exceeding a couple of GB nightly.
Air Conditioning Air conditioning systems run on multiple units with central thermostat control. An on-demand backup system pumps additional cooling as needed to augment the main circulators. Fan circulation is on a separate thermostat designed to augment circulation and comprised of high-efficiency fan units that save 50% on power.
Line Conditioning and UPS Modular UPS Systems are specified standard units, regularly tested and maintained within manufacturer recommendations for load capacity. Our winding based line conditioners with primary line conditioning and other electrical control systems are in place both in the primary service and distributed service cabinets. Our ownership of the IAC facility gives us direct control of electrical wiring upgrades which is nice when you need to add some electrical or control panel circuits.
