What is T1
How does DNS work.

What is T1
T1 is a different way of transmitting information on the Internet in broadband fashion than fiber-optics or cable. Cable and fiber-optics both have limitations not seen by the T1 connection method. T1 is a highly reliable, efficient and cost-effective connection method.

How does DNS work.
The DNS at IAC runs primary and secondary each on a different public IP address subnet. This insures maximum DNS effectiveness on the Internet in that it appears available from two different locations. Hence IAC's DNS is setup as a redundant hot-failover service.
